Amber Creek Farm is located at Fish Creek in South Gippsland, on the doorstep to Wilson’s Promontory.
The farm is set on 400 acres of rolling countryside and two enterprises are run by the Bright Family from the property: Hogs & Logs.
Amber Creek is our home, our work, our life and our lessons. It’s where we are raising children and animals and building businesses and community. Amber Creek sustains us with our food, our water, heating, electricity (we are off grid) and our play. We love to swim in the dams, explore the bush, creeks and build cubbies together.
From varied backgrounds in the health field, trades and generational farming we are using this knowledge to forge our own pathway by combining two unseemingly connected industries (farming and sawmilling) to build carbon, regenerate the soil and increase biodiversity.
